Mr. Lattimore,

If you have read any post on this thread I'm sure you can feel the passion of the AU family. If you come to AU you will experience it firsthand. Marcus, as you may have noticed the Auburn family wants you here. We want you here because of your football skill, yes, but not only that. We also know what an AU education can do for a young man. If you sign with AU you will receive not only excellent football coaching but an education that will equip you for life outside of football. Life can take many turns and having a diploma from AU will be great insurance for your future. You will join an impressive group of former AU RB's who have seen the benefits of their AU education even while playing in the pros. So when you look at AU vs. SC make sure you have seen ALL AU has to offer;athleticallly and academically. Please don't let the argument "USC is closer to home" make the decision for you. Do what is best for your future. Please know that the AU family will respect your decision. One more thing Marcus, if you come to AU: YOU WILL PLAY ON SUNDAYS! We look forward to your decision. War Eagle Marcus!

Excellent article.....probably the best one written on lattimore in terms of painting the picture with facts.  Honestly, I don't know why a running back of his caliber would even consider USCe....if he wants to stay in state then go to Clemson, shoot at least they run the ball.   The USCe and Auburn rushing facts are literally sick....kind of like comparing Texas Tech's running game to Auburn's.

Because he wants to be able to go to church up until signing day?
