Getting the top kickers in the country is important. Some people don't think so, but these guys can be the difference between winning and losing a tight game.

Dang straight! I started to count the games a kicker has made the game-winner....it's ALOT! And of course...the Robert McGinty miss in the Iron Bowl :(

Yes, well, the subject of kickers is a long conversation. Nice commits for our special teams though. I was in geology class with McGinty and although I never heard anybody say anything to him after that Ironbowl miss, the eye daggers were obvious. After he transfered to UF he kicked a FG against us that was the difference in the game. I enjoyed some schadenfreude though when he missed against LSU, costing UF that game. Go figure. It took FSU a decade of signing top kickers to get over the wide-lefts/wide-rights that probably cost them 3 nat'l titles.

Glad we signed the countries best PK. The kickers are way more importnat to the teams success than the recruiting orgs give them credit for.

Signing Day surpise. I sort of expected the kickers to flip with no Special Teams coach and knowing this staff does not particularly like giving schollies to kickers. But probably kind of late for a kicker to flip. War Eagle Daniel !!! I for one is glad you stuck with Auburn.
