the secularists "win" again...

state of tennessee stops referring needy kids to an admittedly superior facility because the administrators of the facility require church attendance.

''To us, it's a basic constitutional right for our children to have a voice if they want to attend and where they want to attend,'' Carla Aaron, a DCS spokeswoman, told the Tennessean.

shouldn't the children have the right to the best care available? don't the children have the right to NOT LISTEN while in church? what other 'seemingly undesirable' actions does the kid get to opt out of? brushing her teeth? taking daily baths?

the downside is that the kids are the ones suffering.

at a minimum, give the kid a choice of going to that facility or not!

does this mean the state doesn't place kids in foster homes where the foster parents require church attendance?

we're so lucky to live in an enlightened country.

sorry to get so worked up over this, but there's children involved here. [/rant off!]

Didn't you know that the only ones who can really care for children are the domoncrats, the liberals and the secularists? Ooops sorry, they are all one and the same.

It would make to much sense to have them involved in something that is a positive influence on their lives. <_<

I live just a few miles from the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home and let me tell you, there isn't a state run facility or private secular facility in the state that does a better job and has a better living environment than them.

Once again, we have the establishment clause being stretched out of proportion and it's the kids who suffer.

Thank you to all the radical secularists for your caring.
