WAR-MATT 2
Link (8) If you believe what you read, Alabama is having a great year in football recruiting for the Class of 2008. The last time that I remember Alabama starting this strong was when Mike DuBose was the head coach and Ronnie Cottrell was the recruiting coordinator. PChamp119 96
Bama has received a lot of commitments thus far. Can't argue with the numbers. And they are looking at more, some Auburn have wanted and still in the running for some of the best in the nation (Jones). I've read the AU fans on this board say a few UA recruits were wanted by Auburn. Saban's name is going to help Alabama right now. Auburn is the better of the two programs and that is all that matters right now, but Saban has and will continue to get the recruits it appears. mec814 0
Maybe the Ronnie Cottrell of yesterday is the Kevin Steele of today.
