"The number is a bit fishy in Columbia," Van Pelt said. "Auburn has not won an SEC game yet, but Missouri — they're only favored by four. OK, War Eagle. Feels like a close game coming there."

Van Pelt's other predictions on Thursday night during "Winner$" segment were Oklahoma State to cover as a 9-point underdog against BYU; Louisville to cover as a 5-point underdog vs. the Miami Hurricanes; East Carolina to cover as a 16-point underdog against Army; UCLA to cover as a 4-point underdog against Rutgers; Baylor to cover as a 6.5-point underdog against Texas Tech; Arizona to cover as a 2.5-point favorite against Colorado; and Arkansas to cover as a 1.5-point underdog against LSU.

Eli Drinkwitz is the Mizzou football head coach. Hugh Freeze is the Auburn football head coach.
