Two steps forward one back. Why even try that bs fire drill? Why waste the final timeout?  Cost us at least three there but he should have made the second one.

AU playing a lot better than expected. Not perfect. But I'll take it. Not an embarrassment. IMO - progress.

Could have been better, but on the whole I am happy with this half.  Offensively I am happy except the two Wildcats. Defensively we adjusted and put a spy on the QB after td run.

I think that kid is done. I don’t know how they could completely remedy IBS, especially if he has it so bad that he couldn’t play in the first place

Seeing some signs of progress in this game.

Also seeing some typical bone headedness.

I'm really afraid that the two trips to the red zone with zero points is going to come back to haunt us.

On the other hand, keeping their defense on the field and running the ball more should pay dividends in the 4th quarter.  And we haven't turned it over.  Yet.

Not if that wasn't the play called

Well, then he should have just thrown it away. Don't throw it to a guy who isn't standing beyond the line to gain.

He's no Byrum.

But that's okay. He'll be a stud one day. 🤞

So we’ve left at least six points on the field. Would love to have those.

Yeah, but on the positive side, we moved the ball, and burned a lot of clock.

You can’t . Lifestyle changes is the best way.

This is going about like I expected. Thorne starting a playing well enough.

Well, and the completely bewildering decision to call a three yard route after using your last timeout with fewer than 20 seconds on the clock.

Yes we did, and we're obviously making a deliberate decision to win the TOP stat.  Those are good signs.
