Actually it was the Music City bowl.  The Birmingham bowl is more of a running joke because Auburn hasn’t been there often.

We’ve been to Birmingham bowl twice 

2016 vs Memphis 

2021 vs Houston 

 

and are currently projected to go there against USF per cbs 

would be our third trip 

 

I posted on Facebook earlier auburn/usf bowl matchup would be another 3-2 game both o-lines are atrocious

That’s not consecutive as u stated. Auburn has also been to the Music City Bowl  just as much. That prediction doesn’t hold much weight in week 2 of a season. Auburn just need to win games
