Three straight cool mornings in East central Alabama. We also got the bright yellow finches showing up at the feeders. Still hot as 🔥 in the PM , but two definite signs that the Nip is near..

Sadly if you see the swatch of red running down the middle it is harder to believe in the cool wonderful NIP. I suppose I just need to have faith even with triple digit numbers.

Yep, I did a ton of outdoor work yesterday afternoon up till 9:00 last night.  I was sweating, but I felt like I could breathe for a change.  The thinner air dang sure made a difference.

WT started the original NIP thread in 2004, and a former long time user started posting her pic the next year I believe. I have no idea the provenance of the original pictures although it's been discussed a fair amount over the years... Use that information as you will.
