The Southern border will be a vulnerability for Kamala Harris.  That said, the only people using the term Border Czar are in right wing media and the Trump campaign.

Agree. I guess for those looking for a nuanced definition it matters. It shouldn't. What matters is she was a leader in and part of the failed border policies of the current administration.

Technically she’s an immigration czar…that lets people over the border illegally.

I'd submit that a more accurate title for her role may be Border Concierge.

I don't recall any pedantic backlash prior to. now about the "title"...now that her record on it become a liability, the squealing and indignant "well, ACTUALLY" peacocking is in full swing.

The base will lap it up, though, so the backpedaling will work as intended.
