In what way?  Is speaking truth to power old and outdated?

Going along with what the Dems liberal minds come up with without much pushback.  The libs have pushed the progressive agenda as far as it is can go.  It is time to call BS.

In reality, the new Republican Party is speaking truth to power.

A view of reality cannot sustain itself if it isn't actual reality.  Alternate realities cripple a society as diverse as this country.

Far out man.  You are describing the Democrat Party here and that is what the Republicans are pushing back against.

Why is he not supporting him?  That is the real discussion that is overlooked.

Why is 2/3 of Democrats not supporting Biden? People make choices. I'm not voting for either of them. A choice.

Why is the party of preserving family values nominating a man who has cheated on all his multiple wives and plows prostitutes?

and why did they bring a porn star to speak at their national convention?

I don’t know what ‘family values’ you’re talking about, but this new look GOP that you support has some very interesting ways of showing off their ‘values’

The family values that believes the family is the future of our nation.  Joe isn’t it and I’m not talking about him personally, but his policies.  Trump’s policies are nothing like what you keep bringing up.

There will always be sin, we are human, but an ideal is worth fighting for.

I am well aware you don’t know what *family values* are.

How is a Vice President telling the President that he will not refuse the electoral votes from states that he lost an idea pushed by the Dems?  How is an attorney general telling the President that the FBI had found no widespread voter fraud to justify DOJ action something that the Dems were pushing?

Who has stated in any way that the family isn't important?  Family values in the current Republican party has no real meaning.  It is nothing more than a talking point.  Even Trump insisted that the definition of marriage be taken out of the party platform.

I’m not talking about the 2020 election debacle, I’m talking about open borders, gender affirming care and, as California just passed, transitioning a child and not telling the parents about the transition into law.  This type of stuff in unacceptable to most.

The Dems are all about the Marxist doctrine which is the children belong to the state.  See Gavin Newsom signing into law that a child can transition in school and the school doesn’t have to inform the parents.

Just stop already.  There is nothing Marxist about the Democratic party.  You can disagree with the bill that Newsom signed without claiming it is Marxist.

Hmm......yeah...I suppose I'm just not attuned to MAGA's family values:

The thread was discussing why those individuals you posted a picture of are no longer welcomed at the Convention.  It has everything to do with 2020 and nothing to do with open borders or any of the all too focused on tranny stuff.

The Republican Party has moved on from Pence; is that plan enough?

Compared to the recently concluded *Pride Month* I believe this is family values.

And there is much more to those stories than you're willing to tell. People have conflicts. Fall out of favor. Some reconcile, some don't. It's called life. We all have choices, and that includes the RNC's ability to assemble a cast of speakers.

You brought up a paradigm shift in the Republican party.  That shift is clearly a shift toward absolute allegiance to one individual over everything else.

Until June 27th of this year the Dems were solidly behind a demented old fool.  What happened on the 27th?

It is the acceptance of the behavior that is the problem.  Republicans are so hypnotized by the guy that they cannot even discuss the facts of what took place in 2020.  It wasn't trivial.  It attacked the very core of free elections.

I believe that there are still enough people of conscience in positions of power that he will continue to be reigned in should he decide to abuse the power of his office again, if elected.  Unfortunately, there will be fewer of those people than there were the first time.

It should not be hard to admit to what the man did at the end of his term, yet it is.  Fox and similar "tell you what you want to hear" organizations do an incredible job of excusing inexcusable behavior.

You know that won't work with me.  You simply ignore the topic by throwing something else out there.

I've yet to meet someone not appalled by the events of that day. And there's universal agreement those who were violent that day deserve their due punishment. It wasn't trivial and I don't know anyone that says otherwise.

First, he has to be elected. You imagine him far more powerful than I do. I think you forgot how promptly order was restored. That will continue.

It's not. You just described 99.9% of all media.
