There's no accounting for a given individual's aberrant behavior. We shouldn't try read so much into it.

That's not the impression I got from the article.  Seemed to me that Ojo-Thompson was creating problems with unfounded accusations of white racism.

Based on what? Her theory and approach. And who signed on to it? His colleagues.
