What if Tre Mason takes a knee at the goal line with 1:19 left against Florida State? Instead, he scored the TD and left Jameis Winston 1:19 to carve us up and throw the winning TD to Kelvin Benjamin with 13 seconds left.

Same game, what if Jonathan Jones doesn't pull a hamstring on a kickoff that resulted in a 100 yard kickoff return?

I agree btw Terry admitted about a year ago that he was told by housel himself that unless he finished four out five in our remaining slate that year he was gone

plus as already mentioned there was some other off the field issues that weren’t really helping terrys case in terms of his popularity with auburn faithful

1998 was Terrys only bad season similar but you have to consider he was starting to lose pretty much the support of everyone by some of his off the field antics 

Terry Bowden QUIT MID SEASON because Housel told him he was gone after the season, thus Brother Oliver's interim stint. The nauseating thing about Bowden was he didnt leave for another coaching job, he abandoned his players to sit out the season on his porch because he was stressed.

I'm going to throw a different kind of "what-if" out there, one that propelled us toward something great.

What if Calvin Jackson's 95-yard pick 6 against Florida in 1993 doesn't happen? We were already down 10-0, headed toward a 17-0 deficit. The '93 team really hadn't won a game of note to that point in the season...would some "here we go again" have crept in? Florida had beaten us pretty convincingly in '90, '91 and '92.

The interception return made it 10-7 and it was game on from there. That play may have been the single biggest jolt to our team all year, because without that win, who knows how the rest of that season plays out.

I look at the 2013 team's win in College Station in a similar fashion. We had an awful 2012 and holding on to win that game on the road made believers out of everyone. It was a script-flipper.

It didn’t help matters that he publicly thanked Jackie Sheryl and Steve Spurrier for not running up the scores on us 

 

Phillip Marshall said he remembers being there in person when Terry said he was glad Florida kept the score at 24-3. and that he could tell he was 100% done when he was at the point of thanking apposing  coaches for not running the score up on us

If price hadnt  gotten drunk and went out with hookers, bammer is one of the first teams to incorporate the spread offense into the sec prior to Florida and auburn

What if someone had stayed in bounds like they were told to before the play?

What if someone had not completely botched coverage on a 4th-and-31 play?
