For all his perceived squishiness, especially from his fellow Democrats, Joe Manchin was one consistent voice against ending the filibuster and the 60 vote requirement for appointees to qualify for a vote.

I wish any of these yahoos, regardless of political stripe, would think about the fact that something that might be of temporary benefit now may come back to bite you in the ass later, especially something that is procedural like the nuclear option.
