Get the quote right, he said take as long as you want to feel better but don't let them see you as weak. It was an encouraging quote, one used to intimidate OSU. It was to check on him and get everyone to rally around the team. It was not to put fear into Danley or challenge his manhood to make him tough. Dye had much respect for his 5th yr senior.

Without doubt he was not challenging or questioning Danley and used the incident to rally the team.
