I went to Dora High in Walker County, AL.  I had a classmate that played for Pat Dye in the late 80's.

His name is Gary Dorsey (nicknamed Superfly).  He only ever played in 5-10 games that I know of so it may be that nobody else on the forum remembers him.

I remember Gary. I don’t remember “Superfly” though. Although that was a long time ago.

who was the short black back they called bowling ball? he played kinda early in dyes career. he was almost as wide as he was tall and dye loved him.
