Kristy Coventry - Auburn's Next Statue?

Kirsty Coventry was back on campus this past week. About a month ago there was some conversation in this sub about who was the athlete most deserving of the next statue. It is hard to argue Coventry is not in the conversation. She definitely reached the pinnacle of her sport. Great article if you are not familiar with her or her accomplishments.

She's certainly one of Auburn's great swimmers, along with Rowdy Gaines. I have not really thought about new statues, but it would be interesting to highlight sports other than FB and BB.
