I have nothing against those who have worked hard and attained an EdD (have worked with many of them over my career) but “the degree is often viewed as less rigorous than a PhD and labeled a PhD Lite.” 

In any case, from my vantage point a career in soft porn is definitely not as academically rigorous as an EdD. 😜

As @AU9377said, acting as though he is incapable of making good decisions based on public speaking/debating would be a mistake. 

I believe Biden should step aside. While he is perfectly capable of making policy decisions and selecting people to fill government positions, there are too many other functions the President must perform that simply take a person with greater mental and physical stamina - national emergencies at 11:00 PM, whirlwind tours while meeting numerous heads of state with late-evening ceremonies, etc.

Having said that, while Biden is certainly a flawed candidate, at least he doesn't think in entirely transactional terms like Trump, and he won't put a bunch of yes men in important positions while promising to use the Justice Department as a weapon (even though he accuses Biden of doing the same, without proof).
