Is the SEC a defensive league again?

No team has a good offense this year aside from maybe ole miss.  UGA and Bama are defensive teams. LSU is wildly inconsistent game to game on offense. 5 minutes ago, MSU beat Arky 7-3 with less than 200 yards passing total and less than 500 yards total between the two teams.
Are we a defensive league again?

Lots of veteran QBs last year that left this year.

Also I hate to say it but the rule change about substitution was objectively the correct call. How is it fair for the defense to not be able to substitute if the offense does too?

IDK how you say LSU is wildly inconsistent.  After scoring 24 vs FSU they've scored over 30 in every game.  They are elite.

MSU and Arkansas are trash.  Like us, awful teams and bad QBs.  QB play in the SEC has gone into the tank.

Best league is pac 12 , top to bottom. QB play is bad in the SEC. Offenses is horrific in the big ten.

Same Pac12 is going out like this when they have so many top teams surging right now.  They might look weird next year with 6-7 legit top 2 round QBs leaving.

As I post this woah boy Cam Ward is amazing.

The game isn’t meant to be fair in that regard.   One of the dumbest rule changes in my opinion.

No it’s not a defensive league, it’s more mediocre offense than anything. The QB play all over the league has been sub-par at best

Watching Tenn vs uat. A decent Tennessee QB is up by 4 scores at half time. They don't have one either. But he's better than ours.

War Eagle, anyway.

At present Auburn has the most offensive offense in the SEC; arguably, the nation.
Have wondered a few times if maybe we should have sought a defensive-minded HC. Not to bolster defense, but to stop the chasing of head coaches who bring hands-on/hands-off playcalling controversy.
