Authorities in Georgia have arrested a 17-year-old suspect in connection to the murder of a fellow teen following a high school football game.

According to the Spalding County Sheriff's Office, 14-year-old Emmanuel Dorsey was killed in a shooting after the annual Griffin-Spalding high school football game.

Kaomarion Kendrick was identified as a suspect early in the investigation. A BOLO was issued back on October 1 after warrants had been obtained for his arrest on charges of murder, aggravated assault, possession of a pistol by a person under 18, reckless conduct and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

On Saturday, he was tracked to a neighborhood in Henry County. After fleeing in a vehicle, he was stopped by units from multiple agencies and taken into custody.

At the time of his arrest, he was armed with a Glock handgun, police said.

Photos taken by police show Kendrick smiling before being put into the patrol car.

Kendrick is being held at the Spalding County Jail without bond.
