AUpreacherman22 3,945
Coaching staff is better, more aligned, etc. Hugh >>>>>>>>>> potato QB - much better and better fit! OL - better and much more depth! WR - better, more depth, and better fit! TE - if I remember correctly, this is just a JSS for Fairweather trade. So I will say push. JSS was here forever, was a team leader, and did a lot of things! Fairweather is expected to be a big upgrade to the passing game. But it will be a challenge to “replace” all of the other things JSS did. RB - push. Tank was a star, no doubt. But this means more carries for JH who was almost as good. Plus we have more depth this year, adding Battie and Cobb. Both should be good runners, solid depth. Also, with better OL and better passing game, I expect the RBs to be more efficient. DL - I will say push. We lost a couple of very good ones, but we have a lot more depth this year which means many more “fresh snaps” which is a big deal on the DL. LB - push. We have more depth, and good experienced transfers DB - better. We have a couple of pretty good new guys, lots of young, talented depth, and our guys from last year are one year better and more experienced Overall, we’re a lot better. Very impressed with what CHF and staff did in a short window.
icanthearyou 4,468
As long as the offensive line is vastly improved, the entire team is vastly improved. 2

Also interesting about the "lower to the ground" comment b/c he's taller. Maybe JH will use some of that leverage he showed off during the offseason. 😉 Not if he is not mentally ready. Being the star also means acting accordingly on and off the field.

Posse just committed to UAB I'll be interested to watch Nolan vs White develop. We had our chance last year to get Noland. Would he have stayed with Freeze? Seems like Freeze wanted White over Noland, but it'll be interesting to see where they finish up.

I’m pretty sure I read on rivals or 247 sometime ago that bridges were burned. Badly burned. Air was on campus with his teammates and had already told a staff member he was going to commit. Harsin took Posse’s commitment instead. Really made him and his family upset. When the new staff tried to make an effort it was relayed that he had moved on… and so did we. hopefully it works out well for both parties. But Harsin was a complete disaster
