Kevin McCarthy is a ******* liar

Kevin McCarthy is a ******* liar, and our ****hole media keeps letting him get away with it

once again. the yammering dipshits on cable news refuse to take even 30 seconds to explain what’s really going on

“If you had a child, you gave them a credit card, and they kept hitting the limit, you wouldn’t just keep increasing it.”

no, Kevin McCarthy, you spineless lying ****, your manufactured debt crisis is not like giving a credit card to a child.

it’s like giving a tax cut to the obscenely wealthy and then making the needy suffer more in order to pay for that tax cut.

that’s exactly what it’s ******* like, because that’s exactly what it is.

**** you, Kevin McCarthy, for lying your feckless face off, and **** our worthless corporate media even harder for allowing Kev and all his ****hole Republican confederates to lie and lie again, when exposing that lie would take all of five seconds.

hell, I just explained right here, up there in the third paragraph. see? it’s not all that difficult.

I know, we’re used to journalistic malpractice from our nation’s press. we’ve come to expect it. but once again, the stakes are incredibly high and the yammering dipshits on cable news refuse to take even 30 seconds to explain what’s really going on.

instead, they’re doing their usual both-sides dance, pretending that Republicans are negotiating in good faith and even implying that it’s Joe Biden’s job to meet Republicans half way.

HERE'S YOUR BOTH SIDES: one side is trying to keep the government running and the other side is deliberately trying to crash the economy.

this isn’t rocket science here. it’s basic journalism. do your jobs.

oh wait, we found an even simpler explanation of the debt ceiling:

“when you raise the debt ceiling, that’s actually paying for stuff that has already been spent.”

that’s pretty concise and easy to understand, isn’t it?

know who said it?

Kevin ******* McCarthy, in 2017.

let’s hear that one more time:

“when you raise the debt ceiling, that’s actually paying for stuff that has already been spent.”

every journalist should be throwing this clip in McCarthy’s stupid lying face, twentyfourseven, nonstop, until he cuts the bull****.

Ah, some of us remember the quaint phrase "sound as the dollar".  It's like something out of ancient times.  Batten down the hatches boys, it's gonna get stormy. Neither side as an ounce of fiscal responsibility.  They are about to hit a fiscal cliff, and the argument between R's and D's is whether to hit the cliff going 100 mph or 99 mph.

The debt is not insolvable.

Yet, Republicans are prepared to default on it which most certainly will not help.

They are prepared to shoot the country in the foot, simply because we have a Democratic president.   After all, they had no problem with raising the debt ceiling three times when Trump was president,  and had no problem with raising it 49 times under other Republican presidents.

And keep in mind, the primary reason the debt has increased is because of unfunded tax cuts.
