It's not special if you do it all the time. I want to have some fun with it, but on a special occasion basis. Not even once a year. Literally on a case by case basis. Nothing ruins the special moment of a well coordinated facemask/jersey match with some black/white/orange/blue out when you're 7-5 hosting a top five team you can't beat, anyway. We should do this stuff for juggernaut games.

Before yesterday's baseball game, I attended an NIL meeting in the Herbert Family Recruiting building i.e. where our football locker room is located.   I was a few minutes early so why not walk around for a minute or two.  Who knows maybe I bump into our new QB1....   Well that didn't;t happen,   But, Inside the locker room was one of those brightly lit, white fabric backdrops used in a photo shoot.   Beside the backdrop were 5 helmets.    2 of them had no shield inside the face mask.   2 of them had 2 slightly different Aubie inspired shield.    BUT, one had this really great looking shield that you could not see into from the outside, it was high gloss shiny and the color was AU inspired but the orange was more like a sunset orange and the blue was lighter than our blue and the colors were interspersed and inseperable.    Maybe we have worn this helmet before and it simply looks different up close vs from my stadium seat.    But dad gum, it looked great.    If it was a photo shoot, the only set of pads in the entire locker room had a number 5 jersey on them.   I assume it was for a recruit that was in town.
