9-3 or 10-2

All besides UGA, LSU, and Bama are winnable.  I think we may steal one we aren't supposed to.

LSU and/or Texas A&M will be the difference makers.

With the current stable of QBs, I think we eke out 6-6. Wins over OOC opponents, Vandy, and MSU.

Gonna play it safe and say 8-4 BUT we beat Bammer! In my Charles Barkley voice "GUARANTEEE WOOOOOO"

I agree with you. My goal for this year has always been to make a bowl.

Btw, SEC Network went over our schedule and had us losing at Cal and said Vanderbilt will be a toss up because it's at Vandy. I believe it was Cris Doering live at our A-Day game that said he struggles to find 6 wins on our schedule with our current QB room.

It sucks that we've fell off as bad as we have the last 3 years. It's a complete rebuild that's gonna take time. I think that's the reason Hugh has been telling fans to temper our expectations for this season.

There is zero excuse to not land one of Thorne or Thompson. Not saying either would be Cam or Nick but they should be enough to get us to six wins.

I think we will land one of those QB's and a WR as well. I hope so anyway.

I've read several Michigan State fans talking about their QB Thorne and their star WR, Keon Coleman, not getting along at all. Both entered the portal and fans don't think they'll go to the same school. I would take either in a second.

I am picking 8-4 with 2 of those being tossups where I pick one as a win and one as a loss. If we get one of the QB's that just joined Portal I will change it to 9-3.  I think other areas appear to have improved enough we could go 7-5 or 8-4 with RA or Geriner. My Orange and Blue glasses always make me err on the positive side.

The Schedule:

UMass - September 2nd                  WIN

@ California - September 9th          Win

Samford - September 16th               Win

@ Texas A&M - September 23rd      Toss-up but will say Lose

Georgia - September 30th                Lose

BYE - October 7th

@ LSU - October 14th                       Lose but close

Ole Miss - October 21st                     Win

Mississippi State - October 28th       Win

@ Vanderbilt - November 4th             Win

@ Arkansas - November 11th              Toss  up but I pick Win

New Mexico State - November 18th    Win

Alabama - November 25th                    Lose

I find an 8 win season overall “progress”, and refuse to start lowering the ceiling to 6-7 for Hugh. He improved us recruiting and in the portal, so I expect better than Harskins.

8-4.

8 wins.  Texas A&M and Arky are the unknowns.  Either Petrino saves Jimbo or that turns into a complete dumpster fire and Jimbo is gone.  Arkansas replaced both coordinators but this should be the season that Arkansas actually finishes for once.

Miss State may be worse than Vandy.

Auburn wins one it probably shouldn’t (Ole Miss) and loses one it shouldn’t (Cal)

I’m sticking with 7-5 with a chance at 8-4.
I wonder how well we will respond after a 2 or 3 game losing streak early in the season.   I kinda wish we could swap LSU and the bye week.   That OM game will be huge.   If we lose again, 3-4 in a row at that point, the rails could come off.
I would be ecstatic with 8-4 after what the last guy did to our roster.   One thing is for sure, CHF and Co.  have worked extremely hard to address the glaring issues on our roster.

Im believing in Thorne being the QB and a record of 8-4. And for the first time in what seems forever, AU will be fun to watch play football. Bring it on.

I'm not sold on Bama being unbeatable at JHS. Depends on their QB situation.

8-4 with a win over penn state in the music city bowl  to reach 9 wins

note I say 8 wins however if we are at 9 wins in late November we aren’t losing to bama

Probably not unbeatable, but they probably have 3 to 4x the amount of draftable players on their 2 deep than we have.  the talent gap is going to outweigh us heavily

As great as Hugh has done making us competitive again, we have a long way to go. Adding PT was a big boost at QB.

before all of the additions, I think we would win about three games. Now I am thinking we will win about six or seven games. Anything more than that would be awesome
