it is on amazon right now for fifteen bucks hard cover. the man is a preacher as was his father and he tells how the evangelicals basically went bat s*** crazyHe is not mean spirited and his writing is amazing. he is not mean spirited at all. He says this is his testimony. I might have more to say after i finish the book.

God didn't do that.  WE, ourselves did that.  We created religion.

God is about self control.  Religion is about controlling others.  Jesus is about love for all of humanity.  Religion is tribal.

I think the founders of our country were pretty sharp when they discouraged the combination of religion and politics.  Stand alone, they can both be forces for the good of humanity.  Together, they seem to promote selfish, self-righteous inhumanities.

Seems kinda high to me.  The calendar we go for Fifty was only 1.99 the week after Christmas.  BTW, the month of May is Debbie Wasserman Shultz in a backless, halter pantsuit!
