Honest history should not be taught. Our children will not be proud of their country if we tell them the truth. They will learn to question power. This cannot be allowed. They may learn to question their own heritage, privilege. This cannot be allowed. They may even learn to question our commitment to democracy. There is no future in teaching honest history.
