I'd also note that if you read through the cases in the link you provided, many of the elections affected were nullified and rerun. That's what the system is supposed to do if fraud is found in an amount that comes anywhere close to affecting the outcome. 

All this exasperation about fraud suddenly becoming an issue is just silly. Yes, there will always be isolated cases of it, but continually bringing it up as a problem when it isn't just serves to undermine confidence in a system that is working.
