This is one of the many things I like about Freeze. He casts a wide net. There are never enough elite OL recruits to go around. Plenty of 3 star and even 2 star OL are in the NFL.  Numbers matter. We need to take 4 or 5 every year, even if that means stealing recruits from non-elite programs. That's exactly what we failed to do in the past.

Agreed. The West and Midwest are full of good o linemen. Kids in a lot of those areas don’t do the year round camp circuit and get overlooked. I’m great with fighting UGA and Bama for the well known 4 and 5 star guys in then South but we don’t win enough of those battles. We should do more to recruit the o linemen from the West and Midwest.
