Cincinnati transfer OLB/edge Jaheim Thomas arrives in Auburn for official visit

Jaheim Thomas, a transfer edge from Cincinnati, has arrived in Auburn for his official visit. 

Thomas, from Cincinnati (Oh.) Princeton High, was a 4-star recruit by at least one recruiting service out of high school. The 6-foot-4 245 pound edge rusher had a strong 2022 season for the Bearcats.

In 2022, Thomas ranked third on the team with 70 tackles and second with 6.5 tackles for loss. He also had two sacks. His season-high in tackles (11) came against a high-scoring Tulane offense.

According to Tigers’ coach Hugh Freeze, Auburn is looking for help at Jack linebacker, and Thomas fits the profile. Auburn has now emerged as a possibility to land Thomas with his visit on Saturday. It is unclear at this time what other schools may be involved.
