Hell of a first half effort by AU there. If we can get more consistent on the offensive end we’ll compete for championships. Our defense is crazy good. Fun team to watch!!

I can’t believe I’m irritated about being ahead by 11 at the half!

playing a top NET and one of 6 undefeated teams … pregame I’d have been thrilled with 11 pt halftime lead!  The 18-1 start spoiled me quick.

Yup. You can just tell he has “it”. Fun to watch. No one else really takes those shots anymore because they can’t make them.

Also, there’s certainly reasons to be optimistic about the second half

It doesn’t appear that Auburn has played a single team that is in the first page (50 teams) for defensive PPG on the NCAA website, and even still, Auburn just had an overall solid half against the second best defense in CBB. A completely new experience, looked largely good against the test. Projects well in the second half, imo

Have you noticed when LSU drives the lane and the shot is no good Auburn is called for the foul. When Auburn drives and the shot is no good it was good defense by LSU.
