Finley the type of guy to throw a wow pass to a WTH pass

Called being a 2nd year player. Shouldn't be too surprising

Idk why ppl are so fixated on DD thinking he's the answer.

Also, Hudson has run some really nice routes today. Get his footwork a little better and he has two scores and 100yds. We haven't seen two nice fades like that in the same game no less....in a decade

No fades has been missing for the last few years lol. I'm just hoping for DD to finally see a united front as far as everybody cheering for the qb. But maybe that won't work either

He gone. College FB has been bastardized.

Yeah, it’s not nearly as fun to watch with teams buying players and too much ref influence on outcomes of games.

Targeting is such a bullhockey lawyer CYA rule, and the fact that its OBVIOUSLY hurting the game, but they can't revise it or admit they screwed up, is just weaksauce.

People like me want to see DD because behind this awful OL, we have a better chance if the QB has mobility.  DD can move.  TJ can't.

Also, this game means nothing.  I'd like to see what the kid can do in a competitive environment.

If we don't get a transfer. Most of the board will be calling for Holden in the spring. Its already happened a few times

Targeting rule is way out of hand. Needs massive revisions.

Yeah I’m all for player protection but that’s not what the rule was designed to prevent. Announcer made a good point too that’s it’s absurd to have security escort them off the field. But makes sense because NCAA clearly view them as criminals.

The rule is wrong, and defending it is wrong, and the way they call it is wrong.

I may not agree with the rule, but if you say that wasn't targeting, you are blind.

More often than not, Smoke is good for a target or pass interference call.  I honestly won’t miss it when he’s gone.

Just asking to see the guy take a series or two is far from saying he's "the answer"

You know how it would go if he had some RS FR moments and Geriner's on the sideline.

And the same thing would happen to Geriner if we get one of this big time 2023 guys out of CA.

We'll never be united unless we finally get another Cam or 2004 Jason Campbell. Even Nick didn't unite the fan base until after the fact.

And it won't get revised unless schools stand up to the NCAA over it, because as it stands it's a CYA corporate-style liability-reduction rule, not anything to do with actual safety.

I agree this game means little. But being 7-6 vs 6-7 has meaning.

Also, I'm sure the coaches want yhe most reps in a competitive environment for their locked in starter going into the spring (baring a transfer we 100% need).

Criminals they capitalize on.

I don't think we have a locked in starter at all going into the spring.  Expecting a transfer and a wide ass open competition.

I was too hard on Schenker going into this year. He's not an elite athlete, but he's a really solid College TE. Gets open and catches

And a two sport athlete at Auburn too which is pretty cool

Holding's a rule too. The refs HAVE A CHOICE. The reviewing it AFTER THE FACT TO FIND IT is deliberate enforcement of bull****.   I'm not blind to that.
