2 ways I think rain benefits Auburn tonight:

1.  Wet crowd equals smaller and quieter crowd

2.  Auburns running game less affected than LSUs passing game

by game time the field could be a mud pit.  Bring on the heavy rains.

LSU fans will be there.  And worse because it will smell heavier with wet corn dogs.

Somebody better get Tank some stickum. He already has issues with holding on to the ball.

Also get the Qbs and the WRs some too, hell let's give it to the whole team 😂

In the monsoon in 2013, LSU outgained us 228 to 213 on the ground with 8 less rushing attempts and 229 to 224 through the air with 11 less passing attempts.

Game isn't sold out.

The get in price on Stub Hub right now is $25 and lower level 50 yard can be had for $80.

Its gonna be relatively empty.

This came from one of the LSU beat writers when asked about the game.

While I’m surprised there still seem to be a decent amount of seats available on secondary markets, all expectations are for this to be “The first real home game back in Tiger Stadium” since 2019. Obviously McNeese and Central Michigan weren’t going to instill that kind of atmosphere, and with LSU desperately needing to win this game I think it will be an all-time Tiger Stadium vibe. LSU has every major recruit in town to see it. There’s going to be a lot of repressed energy unleashed.

I think it's going to be an electric atmosphere. I can't wait to walk out with a win and a big ol' smile.

I still need to go get a cigar.

I've got an early flight tomorrow, so have decided that if we win, I'm smoking one in Michigan Sunday night.

Wow!

To me, That reflects interest in Coach O's program.  He won't be around long with that outlook.

Very Gustafarian.

Right. About 2 million people from Slidell to Baton Rouge and all parts south of I10 were affected by Ida.

And are the ‘13 teams playing a reunion game tonight or something? :)

LSU fans have a tendency to put their nose in the air and follow the smell of corndogs wherever that may lead them.

It’s telling both of those teams accumulated over 500 yards of total offense in the rain and both threw for more than they rushed. It proves rain slowing down a passing game is a myth.

I’ve always understood it proves the opposite, wrs know where they are going, dbs don’t so it favors the offense in the passing game
