In front of Miss State? Who goes into Death Valley and beats the champ vs aTm barely beating Vandy at home? Must have been a lot of day drinking going on

I like the Gus photo.

Completely laughable that ohio st is ranked higher than us without even playing a game yet. We've beaten a top 25 team while they haven't even taken a single snap.

I agree. They shouldn't even enter the poll until they play. Same with Penn State, etc.

Completely agree.  Early polls are usually pretty close to meaningless in a normal season, but with Covid-mania in full swing it’s a complete disaster.

Texas top 10? Why? Because they're "back" again or because they should have lost to unranked Texas Tech?

This is not your father’s LSU. The stadium is obviously less imposing with the reduced crowd. They replaced like almost every starter they had and several rotational players. They lost their impressive passing game coordinator, and Ensminger by himself is not the same. I thought Dave Aranda was a bit overrated, but Pelini is still a major downgrade at DC. I still think Orgeron is legit, but LSU legitimately looked like a high school team last night. Reminded me a lot of us at the beginning of 2011 when we almost lost to Utah State, but with even less experience.

That was a really long way for me to say this, but I’m not sold on MSU. I think it was more about how absolutely terrible LSU looked than about how great MSU looked.

Nevertheless, polls had LSU highly ranked and Miss St beat them by 10 in Red Stick.

I really hate to say this,  it their start reminded me of our NC follow up in 2011 - not the same team as the prior year...
