AUBURN, Alabama—One of the biggest changes for Gus Malzahn and the Auburn football Tigers heading into the 2020 season is the addition of Chad Morris as offensive coordinator.

The head coach at the University of Arkansas the last two seasons and at SMU before that, Morris earned his stripes as an offensive coordinator after coming to the college game out of the Texas high school ranks where he had major success.

Looking to take things to a higher level for Auburn’s offense, Malzahn brought in a longtime friend and colleague in Morris, someone says that he believes will be a great fit for what the Tigers have on offense.

“Our offenses are from the same philosophy,” Auburn's head coach said. “Now, he has got his own flavor and he is going to bring a different dynamic, but we are very familiar. I know he is just hungry. He is ready to get out there with Bo (Nix) and the skill guys and the offensive line.”

Malzahn talks about Morris, the advantage of having him in for bowl practices and more in this exclusive clip with Inside The Auburn Tigers.
