Auburn players call out fans after 20-14 win against Ole Miss

AUBURN, Alabama — Auburn returned Saturday to Jordan-Hare Stadium for its first home game in more than one month.

Auburn players were apparently not too impressed by the atmosphere during their 20-14 victory against Ole Miss. Safety Jeremiah Dinson, who stood on the sidelines battling a virus Saturday, gave the "energy" at the stadium a "thumbs down" in a tweet, which led to a couple of responses and takes from fellow teammates on Twitter after the game.

"Starting to question what Auburn fans are cheering for now," linebacker K.J. Britt tweeted after the game.

Auburn's student section began to empty at halftime, with many of the upper portion of the south end zone stands empty in the fourth quarter as the Tigers were holding off an Ole Miss rally.

Temperatures climbed into the 60s during the sunny day, but dropped into the 40s after halftime. The game kicked off at 6 p.m. CT.

Auburn announced a sellout crowd of 87,451 at halftime.

We need our fans on our side.. Starting to question what Auburn fans are cheering for now. Lets get back on track and make Jordan-Hare stadium GREAT AGAIN!
