No worries, Wade Christopher never runs out of eligibility.

Gus wouldn't play him.

It leaves Auburn without a truly viable backup quarterback for the final month of the regular season, and it will undoubtedly affect how Malzahn handles Nix over the final four games.

Gus has dealt with this issue, literally, every year Gus has been at Auburn.  He has been very lucky, except the SW years, and as bird said; “he’ll just trot him out a la SW’.

It would be Auburn as hell for Bo to sprain his ankle this weekend

Then Cord comes in and pulls out 16-20 for 317 and 2 TD's. What does Gus do then?

We will never know. I didn't mean that in that manner. I don't think that way. Gus loves using that word.

Okay so our backup QB's consist of an ex-baseball pitcher who has taken 8 or 10 snaps in college, a walk on senior with no experience, and a running back who is still not 100% from an injury. Great job Arthur Gustavo Malzahn III .

It’s actually better than he went into the 2017 Clemson game.  That game he had a QB that had played in 4 games in 2 years as the starter and a True Freshman win no college snaps and an walk on senior that at a few snaps the week before.  He is used to working under these self inflicted situations.

Very slim chance Bo keeps the ball now that's for sure. So zone read is negated for the most part.

True but heck they were not using it anyay. I think the fact he refuses to run Nix is a big part of the problems the offense has. He doesn't need to run it 15 times a game but three or four zone reads when he keeps it will at least keep the defense honest.

Bo isn't good enough of a passer to basically neuter our zone read. Lol this is going to get ugly down the stretch, guys.
