NoALtiger 4,068
4 SEC West teams in the top 20 including the NC winner. Pretty solid for a “down year”.

Sully to Beasley 643
I am pleasntly surprised that we made it into the final top 10. I guess beating the SEC Champs and the "national champs" did mean something after all. WDE!
DAG 35,153
Never understand you goobers who care so much about the SEC. All that matters is where Auburn is at and where we are heading. So what the SEC has 5 teams in the top 25? Alabama once again has won the NC and UGA also seems to have momentum. We need to ser ourselves up for the future. gravejd 3,309
top ten win after 4 loses in the season....i was going to say thats generous but when you see we lost to #1, #2, #4, and #18.....wow that was a tough schedule we had.

AUpreacherman22 3,945
Yep, we played 5 games against the top 6 in the country!!!!! And #18 and #19 That is straight up ridiculous!!!
bigbird 60,963
That's about right. The only two on there I could see us beating would be Wisky and TCU. I'd put UCF over Ohio St too
GBAU83 212
Not so bad when it all fleshes out. That is why I hate pre-season polls because Bama beat FSU that was supposed to be a big win but where are they (FSU) now? AU had 4 losses to #2, #4, #6 and #18 (which should have been a win) and beat #1, #2 and #19. Did any other team play as much ranked competition? Bama beat #2, #4, #18 and #19 but lost to #10; UGA beat #3 and #10 but lost to #1 and #
eibua12 81
UGA also beat ND, which technically not in the top 10 are sitting at 11, just sayin. That is 5 top 11 teams. Auburn played 4 and yes I counted the games twice.
Southwest 186
Also Hate em, but Osu beating 3 top 15 teams is impressive. Big 10 was suppose to be down but handled theirselves well this bowl season.

Not to be that guy but the Big10 didnt have anyone in the playoffs and the SEC had 2... so essentially pushing everyone up 2 games in bowls matchups for the SEC. jtauburntiger 119
Also, MS St ends up ranked higher if not for that nasty break of fitzgerald in the Egg Bowl. They were nowhere close to the same team without that guy taking snaps.
