So bama gets busted as well

So it seems bama's got a NCAA compliance guy guilty of taking money as well as others in this latest basketball scandal. My question is this....do compliance officers monitor ALL sports or are there different officers for different sports? If this guy monitored football would it be reasonable to suggest the same crap is  going on with  bama football as well? I think sabans buddy mark emmerett or whatever his name is has been covering up the shady crap going on down there? Discuss please

Mark Emmert might can protect Saban as far as the NCAA side goes, but when the FBI gets involved, Emmert has no authority.  The corruption and politics in the NCAA runs deep, but this has been known for awhile now, just nothing has been done about it.

UAT is one of the bell cows of NCAA football.  The NCAA will be very careful going after the football program.  Watch this basketball investigation to see if Kentucky, North Carolina, Duke, etc. get caught with NCAA violations.

With all the hot garbage this dumpster fire is jettonsing it will be interesting to see of the NCAA does anything at all.  Can't really nuke one or two schools and ignore the rest.  It would be a fun show to watch if we weren't one of the characters.

Case by case is the only way the NCAA can approach it.  Some, such as Louisville, seem to be in much deeper than others.  If money or equivalent was passed on to a player by CP then we go to the top half of the list.

The FBI gave out a number for a hotline the other day for people with information. Can anyone do a solid and give them the link to the Charles Robinson article along with the REC packet of info? :dunno:

Heck the NCAA has been scratching their butts trying to just figure out how to bust UNC, who has admitted to running a bogus academic class to keep athletes eligible for well over a decade. The FBI can hand NCAA, UNC, Kentucky and Duke on a silver plater and nothing will happen.

Yahoo sports had copies of emails from a player requesting money and copies of Wells Fargo money grams from that UAT coach to the player and nothing happened. It all......pooofff disappeared.

Same exact situation as happening in basketball.

How many years ago was it the Tarheels were caught with their pants down academically and the ncaa did nothing about it? Unless the FBI tells the ncaa to sit down and shut the you know what up, we're in charge now, I don't see the bell cows of college basketball having anything much to fear
