Brad_ATX 13,654
I live in the middle of a city, but there's a longhorns ranch just down the street from mw in our neighborhood. Literally surrounded by homes. I can hear them mooing most nights.

I found the cattle relaxing, especially in the winter when their moos carried a long way.

Beer, wine, cocktails... all "coffee". Not really a deception thing, at least not intentionally. Our daughter started it at about 18 months. Always fascinating, their little brains operating...

I'm surrounded by neighborhoods, shops, etc and in the middle of it all is a cattle ranch. 25-30 years years ago all of this land was undeveloped, but Austin has grown immensely since then. They could get millions for selling off this small ranch to developers.

A UA-fan daughter (that owes me a six-pack from our Iron-Bowl bet), and 2.) A son that would rather eat a bug than see any football. 1
