tigers now ranked 23 in the nation

AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn is alive and well on the national scene.

The Tigers jumped into the Associated Press' top 25 poll at No. 23 on Monday.

Auburn (4-2, 2-1 SEC) is coming off a 38-14 victory at Mississippi State and has won three straight games for the first time since October 2014. The Tigers' two losses are to teams currently ranked in the top 10 and enter Week 7 undefeated with a combined record of 12-0.

No. 3 Clemson knocked off Auburn 19-13 in the season opener and No. 6 Texas A&M pulled away for 29-16 on Sept. 17.
