I never really appreciated Bruce until I met my wife. She and I shared same passions for bands; me, Phish-her, Bruce. We both had awakening moments in terms of discovering each of “our” bands. Phish went on up to Portsmouth and covered Thunder Road the following day. We saw Bruce the following tour with Clarence’s nephew playing in his place(slayed it). And I’ll tell ya, when Bruce played Thunder Road there wasn’t a dry eye in the place. And that concludes this cool story for the evening.
