I don't know. I know his girlfriend wants to go there and she carries real weight in his decision. Plus I could see JS as insurance for Sumlin to keep his job even with a loss to LSU.

So there's every possibility, barring an exceptional season from a very young QB,  that we're in exactly the same boat next year as this year (less a few really good d-linemen and o-linemen). Am I missing anything?

The whole offseason will have it's fair share of redundancy I'm afraid. Lot of similar questions will be tackled about the termination/tenures of our football coaches, stubborn coaching philosophies, and whether our personnel is being developed the way they should be.

But didn't A&M tell Mond they weren't going to recruit anyone else but him? Now it's public that JS might go there. Would he not feel lied to? Cause I would....

Wouldn't this depend on who AU brings in as OC after Lashlee leaves ? AU can get a good qb with a good oc/qb coach

I would hope Pj Fleck. He seems to have IT. He has successfully built up a terrible program. He seems like a rock star from where I am sitting but he is clearly behind herman in the pecking order to get a major job. I would take him over any re tread who has a bigger name.
