on another site. not sure if i am allowed to say the name? its trackem tigers( mods if this is a nono please delete the name). anyway it would not let me copy or cut in paste but the info was jaw dropping. it seems even with the no huddle that gus runs he actually ( in his three years at auburn) only ran ten or even only five more playa than caoch b or coach saban and others. and the case was made where their are fewer injuries in the hunh as well. so basically it demolishes all arguments by the other coaches...............

"The no huddle teams tend to have more blocks and tackles made on the edges of the field, away from the crushing mass of offensive linemen."

Difficult to prove, but at least plausible?

No huddle = score with fewer plays.

The Gus system runs the ball so much, with high percentage passes, that the clock doesn't stop much; so in the end, same amount of plays IMO.

Statistics have been shown to back this up.

What kind of offense did Clemson run vs LSU in the chicken bowl? IIRC, Clemsun ran off 90+ offensive plays and in the end won the game. Do they run HUNH or just breakneck speed offense?

Their OC, Chad Morris, is one of Gus' disciples. It's basically Gus' offense that they run. Good article below.
