I recall Reuben hanging out w/ and talking with the Auburn recruits throughout the entire Rivals 5-Star Challenge.  Wonder who he'll be hanging out w/ during The Opening.

Obviously I am shooting for him to keep hanging with Tray, Shaq and AK.  It's a long weekend so I figure he will hang with a lot of different people, Liner included.  On the live chat yesterday, OJ was talking about trying to keep him at Bama .. perish the thought!  = Saban

That's nice.  I usually don't mention where my loyalties are just because when I get on a site like this, I would rather just have some great recruiting conversation and share info back and forth and often when you go on a rival site, if you announce who you are right away, the option for "great recruiting conversation" goes out the window.  I have a lot of info that I am willing to share and some that I am not but much of what I know came straight from the horses mouth.

No offense. You are very civil in your posts. It's just that you are saying the same things many people in the Dawg Nation are saying on TD and it gets old. We get it. UGA feels good because Foster visited them twice in 2 weeks. Well guess what he already visited Auburn twice in ten days. He was there for Big Cat Weekend even though it was not reported nationally and brought Matthews with him to see Auburn ten days later. UGA has every right to feel good but I feel just as good about Foster because I trust KK and his sources and he still feels Foster to AU after the trip to Athens.

It's all good, I just want the conversation to take the tone of the topic and the posts rather than change tones from the allegiances I carry.

I believe recruiting is a tricky process and to be honest, I think whoever gets Reuben gets Tray and Shaq too.  Maybe even Adams but that guy is so difficult to read so it's anybody's guess.  BTW, what is "TD"?  I have sources but I guess since I am asking what it is that that isn't one of them.

I know that you may be a UGA fan so don't take this as a stab, but UGA doesn't stand a chance with Adams as of now. It's AU, Clemson, and USCw as a dark horse but I don't see him going that far away.

Reuben Foster looked like he tore his hamstring on his 40

Reuben Foster just went down after running his 40, had to be carried off. No. 3 player in the country.

Gotcha, my bad.  Haven't been there.  I just found this site because I do like to engage in recruiting talk aside from just other Dawg fans.  I tried VolNation but good Lord those people are mentally challenged.  Then one account I had with them got cancelled because I named the account "Vols=DumpsterFire" .. not sure why they kicked that account off though.

Clemson is all but out of it.  Adams doesn't want to play with Kim-Dee-Chee.  It's an AU/UGA battle for him as well since he is the second top recruit (Tunsil being the other) to rule out Bama

I promise you, he doesn't want to play in a 3-4. Even though UGA sells him that the 3-4 DE in Grantham's defense is just like a 3-tech DT in a 4-3, he doesn't want to do it. His coach has said as much.

He's all yours guys! .. Just kidding, in all seriousness, hope he is ok cuz no matter where he goes to school he has always seemed to be a great kid and has an amazing future.

foster is still an auburn vs. alabama battle, and matthews is a uga vs au battle. if they want to play together it will be at au.

despite what people are saying. foster is not as heavily considering uga as people think. and as stated before he is the leader.

one more thing: foster has felt stressed about the whole au vs. bama battle that i assure you the last thing he would want to do is add another school to the mix

TIFWIW i just thought i would share

You seem sure.  Do you know he may not even play at Auburn HS next season?

from al.com

"Also noteworthy from Foster's interview was the declaration that while he currently remains committed to Alabama, he plans on playing his college ball alongside close friend Tray Matthews, a safety from Newnan, Georgia currently committed to the Bulldogs.

"Me and Tray are going to play together 100% in college," said Foster."

I like the chances of one commit flipping from one school to another better than two flipping from both schools to a completely different third school.  JMO

UGA was in the mix WAAAY before AU was so it's not like they are getting "added to the mix" .. He nearly committed to UGA last year at DawgNight and after pressure from  over at bammer, he committed then and has struggled with that decision ever since.

im not saying they end up at auburn. I'm saying if they want to play together it will be to auburn. but if they don't come to auburn they will not play together.

people need to remember, including us auburn fans, that the process is stressful and foster is a good kid and a lot of what he says is so people will get off his back.

anyway, foster has not made his mind up but it is an AU vs. UA battle.

he wants to honor his commitment to bama and has always been a bama fan but he has fallen in love with the coaching staff at au.

i would be 100% shocked if foster ended up at georgia.

So what is your interpretation of his last 2 visits to Athens. Just wanted to see all his friends at Gawga and would have been bored this past weekend if he stayed in Auburn because no coaches were in town?

That statement from MA is from way way back.  A lot has changed in MAs recruitment since then.

he is feeling a lot of pressure from friends to check out their school.

Why, he has been big on UGA since before committing to bammer.  This quote from Reuben is from mid-June

Reuben Foster on ‪#UGA‬ "They have most of my friends, they can put the program on top & I know they will ride or die w/ me."

He has been friends with Tray since middle school and Shaq and AK are now close friends with him.  He gets IMMEDIATE playing time at UGA from day one.  He loves to sit in the film room with Coach Grantham.  He has lived in Georgia most of his life and is quite possibly moving from playing at Auburn High before the season starts.  Why the shock again?

Records?  Uhhh, I don't think I have that kind of time, lol.

If you have an insider account, this story is pretty revealing.

Go to the UGA board if you want to talk UGA recruiting.  So Foster visited your school 2 times wow.  He comes to the AU athletic complex over 2 times a week.  You better be worried about the visits Matthews has been making that nobody is supposed to know about.

It will be interesting to see which way he'd go if it came down to Foster deciding between the D-Coordinators in Grantham and CBVG. Grantham made his bread and butter from coaching D-lines, with an early coaching career dabble in secondary and LB's. CBVG on the other hand is more a LB specialist; obviously RF's position. Both coordinators are successful in their own right; Grantham perhaps more so in his current location vs. CBVG who is unproven at AU (for the time being!!).
