I like this method better than the method or recruiting HS players and losing them to JUCO because of grades. How many 4* players did we get that couldn't make the grades and ended up in JUCO?

under Chizik it was actually really well done IMO. We only lost one or two a year at the most and I think they were usually borderliners and their non-qualifying was a surprise. With Tubs it felt like we basically lost every blue chipper he ever signed.

I agree...getting them in was much better under Chizic. Keeping them in school seemed to be the much bigger issue.
