Sometimes the choir is the only one who listens!

This is true because they are facing the congregation.  If they fall asleep everybody knows it.

and obviously, at times, the choir are the only ones' who know when a sermon is needed.

Gonna change the subject up on you a little bit, Eff.

I know you've said you guys chopped HBO off the dish list , but have you ever seen True Blood? :o

and one more HBO highlite from my otherwise lost weekend, Renee Fleming a WAY SERIOUS opera star, had 4 students who won AmericanArt awards that were vocalist on for one half hour. It had about 20 minutes of her coaching them in classes.  :yay::trampoline::hellyeah::happydance: DAYUM, I would've had to pay an ungodly sum to even glean that knowledge and it was like being a kid on Christmas morning that didn't expect to get any presents and got every present. DAYUM......... :'( In all seriousness, you would've paid like $5000 for that kind of class and that is no freaking joke. WOW!!!!!

As an acolyte, I slept through many a church service.  The trick is to be asleep yet aware of your surroundings.  If you're late getting the lights turned back on after the sermon, everyone knows you were asleep. :-X

I haven't watched it.  I sorta keep up with the plot through EW.  I do want to read the books, which btw, are recommended by Anne Rice, queen of vampire literature.  ;D

So, you liked it?

There was a marathon on prior to the season premiere last night. It ran on one of their various channels all weekend. Not my normal fare, plot is a little fanciful at times, like the whole time. Let's just say, those vampires, necromancers, witches, wiccans, werewolves, and what ever other creatures I left out could bring the genre back for me BIG TIME. Sexy show  That be all I gonna say bout dat............

Morning everyone. Just heard the horrible news this morning. Sad, very, very sad.  :(

Morning 62.  Yes, very sad news.  But on  a happier note, our boy TT has expanded his horizons in the television series realm.  It's just a matter of time until we have him watching TWD.

Did you really just post to me, openmindedness is not a bad thing?

BTW, shifters too, whatever in heck that is :dunno: I gather they change forms.

It was good, in a visit the ceramic lab first kind of way. Funny, at times violent, very erotic and at times not many emotions will it miss. They pack a whole lot in an hour. Very well done show.

No Vamp Chrons yet, one step at a time.

I spent the weekend cleaning around the old house and watching Dexter and Justified so that’s two more for me. What’s this vampire show of which y’all speak?

True Blood.  It's closer to soft-core porn (not I have a problem with porn  :-X) than a vampire show IMO.  I watched a couple of episodes before I got rid of HBO.

I believe I did. I was trying to be ironically funny. I think I suceeded.

Shape shifters are from American Indian lore. It's a person who can change or shift into an animal.  In some literature it is a wolf or a bear.

Vampire literature as a whole is erotic, imho.  One of my former students did his thesis on that subject.  Pretty interesting stuff.

Porn eh? Well that explains a lot. There were certainly elements.  FTR, I was not the only one in the room that thought it was sexy. ;D

So Mr.T liked it too?     :tease:
