I finally got my pecan pie! I broke down and taste tested it yesterday, and it is good good good!

My daughter made her first Pecan Pie this Thanksgiving. She just called and told me it was GOOD! I can't wait to taste it.

I'm out for a while. I may be back later tonight. I hope you all have a very good Thanksgiving Day. Be careful if driving. Be thankful for all you have and the ones you love. Don't forget to be thankful for our men and women in the military who can't be with their families.

I felt like I needed to explode earlier. I stuffed myself with way too much turkey, ham, dressing, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole and corn. Then, I had to have a slice of my daughter's first pecan pie so she wouldn't feel bad (she was right, it was very good).

I could not bring myself to pull the trigger(fork). We had a great time though, laughed and watched a Treme' marathon on HBO after seeing how bad the Pats thumped the Jets.

sidenote: After watching Sanchez, uh......must be something in the gatorade that half the QB's are drinking this year. There wasn't a part of the Jets that wasn't broken down. Reminded me of other things........hence the Treme' marathon. lol
