I grew up in Western, ks and now live in Eastern. It's funny to see how different people's reactions are to snow. Western, ks = not a big deal/welcomed. Eastern, ks = the end of the world might be around the corner. I don't understand it.

Good response as in panic for days when it is mentioned and then the day it is supposed to happen, the schools close and business send employees home before the first snowflake falls.
