Been wondering the same thing. All indications were that he was a flat out stud coming out of high school, but I don't know that I've heard his name since...

I've got a hunch he'll be playing safety behind Florence at safety this year. With Davis, Mincy, Therezie, and Whitehead at corner, it seems like he would be a good fit there. McNeal and Smith on one side, Florence and rose on the other.

They have moved Whitehead to safety behind McNeal and I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure they have been trying Smith at WLB. I agree that Rose seems to be a natural fit a FS behind Florence if he is physical enough.

i have heard some say that he is not very physical. If that is the truth that may be what has held him back. I also hear db is one of the harder positions to project.

He and Florence were my favorite recruits out of that class (I also wanted Roberson who played great and started as a true freshman for florida) I figured with him as well we would have the #1 secondary class in the nation. I hope rose can turn it on if it's true about him not being physical he needs to stay at corner

He ddn't RS. He played some on ST.

Reports were that he struggled mightily against good competition at the Army AA game practices 2 years ago. That caused him to take a hit in the last recruiting rankings of that year. It's been pretty quiet since he got on campus.

Rose has great size, leaping ability, and good speed, but he must get more physical to be a major contributor in the SEC.

I must have missed something. Why is it so crazy to think Rose should have been redshirted? I didn't even realise that Rose played on special teams last year. I'm a bit dissapointed to hear he did not redshirt. I think it would be awesome if he and Frazier still had four more years of playing time left.

I agree with you War. I think it would've been better to redshirt him. He played very little and didn't really contribute. I'm hoping he's just a late bloomer and maybe will flourish later in his career

He had a pick in the last scrimmage.  I just think he has a confidence issue. When the light comes on he is going to surprise some people.
