I can't believe how much the OL improved from one week to the next.  Not that we dominated, but it was impressive.

The defensive ends seemed to play exceptionally well as a group.  Tough position to play against State's diverse offense.  Read-option, true option, bubble screens, and so on.  These guys got better as the game went along.

I like our DTs, but they're too young and too weak to really hold up.  Can't get off blocks.  Leaves the rest of the D vulnerable.  Last week it seemed our younger guys were better, but not so this week -- not even close.  One year in the weight room, and I bet we'll be fierce.  But right now, it's a problem there.

I respectfully disagree... they improved a lot in 1 week and the starters stepped up big.
