Arkansas linebacker arrested

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas linebacker Ross Rasner was arrested Friday morning and charged with possession of a controlled substance and as a minor in possession of alcohol, according to the Washington County Detention Center website.

Rasner, 19, was arrested by the University of Arkansas Police Department and booked in the Washington County Detention Center at 1:22 a.m. His bail was set at $825.

Other details surrounding his arrest were not immediately known.

Rasner is the fifth member of Arkansas’ football team to be arrested since last June
